Well, I have been neglecting my blog, but I have some great excuses.
1. I've been looking for a way out of postdoc eternity - by applying for jobs! No success just yet, but after tons of applications, I have gotten an interview. It was quite a learning experience, but to date, my first faculty job has not materialized. But I am still hopeful.
2. I am engaged! Amazingly between experiments and training I've managed to truly meet my match. I'm ecstatic and we're planning a wedding in September.
3. Training! I completed two triathlons last year (one I did as a relay, one on my own). I survived.
So, I've been thinking about my blog for a while, and now I'm back!!!
